Ogbagi Akoko Community Demands Full Justice As Vigilante Arrest Three Suspected Robbers In Ondo

Men of the Community Vigilante group on Thursday, in Ogbagi Akoko community of Ondo state have arrested three serial armed robbers who are notorious in vandalising and stealing Government infrastructures in the area.

VAM News gathered that the suspects; Energy, Oyibo and Muhammed Nofiu, all from OFE quarters in the community have been handed over to the Police in Ogbagi Akoko. 

An anonymous source revealed to VAM News that one of the culprits is the son of a retired senior police officer while another is the brother of a former governorship aspirant. 

The people of the community while appreciating the job done by the community vigilante group, also charged all relevant security agencies to ensure that justice takes its full course and the suspects are made to face the full wrath of the law.

According to a community member, the call for justice was necessary because the suspects are known to have accomplices and friends among the security officers in the community and the entire state. 

Items recovered from the suspects are properties belonging to the Ondo State water corporation.

The Ogbagi police division could not be reached for comments on the arrest as calls made to the line of the DPO, Mr. Deji Fabuluje were not answered nor returned.
