Yuletide: NSCDC charges Osun residents on peace, deploy 1,565 personnel

The Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has called on residents of the state to maintain peace during this Yuletide period, emphasising that security is everyone's business.

This is contained in a release by the Public Relations Officer of the Command Mr Adigun Daniel, on behalf of the State Commandant, Mr Abdulkadir Sulu, a copy of which was obtained by VOICEAIRMEDIA in Osogbo.

The Statement revealed that the State Command has deployed one thousand, five hundred and sixty  five personnel for protection of lives and critical infrastructures during the Yuletide period.

Commandant Sulu therefore warned unscrupulous elements who are planning to cause crisis to stay clear of the State of Osun as anyone that is found engaged in acts that could breach the Peace would be dealt with.

The release stated further that members of the public should be vigilant and report any suspicious character lurking around their vicinity to any of the formations of the Corps. The following phone numbers can be called in case of any emergency: 07069348010

On behalf of the officers and men of the State Command, Commandant Sulu wishes all Christians a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year in advance.
